MIAMI SHORES
This Tropical Modern residence is designed with a focus on clean lines, natural materials, and a strong connection to the surrounding environment. Central to the design are horizontal elements such as eyebrows, roof eaves, and planters, which define the home’s massing and create a balanced architectural rhythm. These features not only scale the structure but also establish a grounded, cohesive presence that responds to the site and neighboring context.
The exterior is characterized by limestone cladding, wood composite soffits, and bronze window frames, ensuring a seamless integration with the landscape. The sloped roofs, finished with charcoal-toned flat tiles, evoke a natural, tropical aesthetic that anchors the home within its environment.
The design emphasizes open, airy spaces, with expansive living, dining, and kitchen areas on the first floor that connect directly to the pool and landscaped garden. On the second floor, the layout creates a sense of separation between key areas while maintaining a dramatic 15-foot ceiling in the main living areas, enhancing the spatial experience. A floating metal staircase ties together the vertical and horizontal elements, reinforcing the home’s architectural identity.
By integrating natural materials and preserving the existing landscape, this residence offers a timeless design that complements the Miami Shores neighborhood.
