GREYKNOLL RESIDENCE
Situated by the tranquil GreyKnoll Lake in Unincorporated Miami-Dade, this architectural project unfolds on an approximately 11,000 square feet lot. The design aims at creating a distinctive profile by introducing a gradual increase in height within the volumes facing the street. Given the scarcity of two-story residences in the area, a decision was made to recess the second floor from the front setback, artfully dispersing the volumes.
A grand 17-foot entry, strategically positioned at the side of the volumes, leads into a foyer that opens up to a 17-foot-high main living area, offering panoramic views of the picturesque lake. This space seamlessly integrates into a semi-open floor plan, connecting to a family room and a kitchen. On the opposite side of the property, three bedrooms with accompanying bathrooms and walk-in closets coexist with a master suite, complete with a master bathroom and walk-in closets that overlook the serene backyard.
The journey to the first floor unfolds with a main linear stair leading to a second level, where a spacious den area awaits, designed for recreational activities and equipped with a gym and an additional bedrooms. The main recreational activity room boasts a balcony that offers captivating views of the lake and the lush backyard, creating a harmonious blend of indoor and outdoor living spaces.
