BELLE MEADE RESIDENCE
This project, situated in Belle Meade, Miami, involves the design of a house spanning approximately 10,000 square feet of air-conditioned space and an additional 4,000 square feet dedicated to storage and garage. The primary focus of the design is to elevate the first floor approximately 9 feet above the existing terrain, responding to flood rising sea levels and resiliency for climatic variations at the city.
The design concept of the home was to incorporates various terraces on different levels, enhancing the functionality of each space that seamlessly integrates the exterior with all entertainment areas. This includes two pools at different levels, a jacuzzi, and a cold plunge , contributing to a comprehensive and dynamic outdoor experience.
On the first ground floor, a covered carport area with a central rotunda serves as the entry point for vehicular access, featuring a prominent tree at its center to provide privacy. This carport facilitates direct service access to the house. The main entrance on the first floor integrates with the landscaping, creating an entrance hill with steps leading to the primary double height social areas looking towards the canal.
