Design Competition: 2nd Place Award

 Preschel Bassan Studio had the honor of participating in a contest to design the Rosario Vera winery, office and tourist complex for the Gil Family Estates in Rioja, Spain. 

 

The concept was inspired by the town of La Guardia, with its profile as the main driving force for the formal expression of the complex, blended with the existing landscape and its rich topography, to result in an organic and natural building.

 

The project prioritizes functionality for production and tourism, as the winery hosts wine events and provides spaces for social gatherings and cultural events for locals and visitors.
